Prior to pickup checklist
Dog Food - Purina pro plan puppy. Under 1 Year (Chicken & Rice). Can be purchased from Tractor Supply or PetSmart. Your puppy is free fed and is not on any type of feeding schedule. Keep in mind, it may take your puppy a couple of days to start eating like normal due to the environment change. If you do not wish to continue this food, please let me know prior to pick up so I can send a small bag to gradually transition with to keep from causing an upset stomach.

NuVet Supplements - Your puppy has been on Nuvet since starting to eat mush at 3 weeks old. We have now transitioned to a wafer which is what you will need to order. This is a great product and even if you don't want to continue it long term, I definitely recommend ordering at least one jar to continue your puppy on when they come home for immune support. These vitamins will help to boost the immune system that may be dampened due to the stress from the new environment. For more information about Nuvet or to order click the link below.

Snuggle Pup - These little things are wonderful and make the transition much smoother when your puppy comes home with you. I have heard multiple great reviews and always recommend them to anyone purchasing a pup from me. If time allows, the snuggle pup can be shipped here to have mom and littermate's scent.

- All of our puppies are trained to doggie doors by the time they leave to go to their forever homes. If you don't have a doggie door, I would recommend having some puppy pads on hand. It would also be a great idea to bring some puppy pads for the trip back home after picking your baby up if you have a distance to travel. Please, please do NOT stop and let your puppy out on the ground to potty on the way home!! Parvo is highly contagious and deadly to young puppies who have not had all their vaccine's!! It can be picked up ANYWHERE as well as tracked in on the bottoms of your shoes! It is important to keep this in mind when visiting the vet clinic as well! I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with parvo and how you can protect your new puppy from contracting that horrible virus! All puppies are very susceptible until all of their vaccinations are complete which is typically around 4 months old. Please be extra cautious with your puppy until that time! If you live in an apartment complex or do not have a yard of your own, I suggest ordering a small piece of artificial turf for your puppy to potty on until they complete their vaccinations! (Amazon has them for a reasonable price).I always recommend bringing an old towel or something similar just in case of car sickness on the trip home. Until puppies get older and use to car rides, car sickness is typically normal.

- Puppies are usually around 15 pounds at 8 weeks. Their necks are typically between 10-12 inches. I recommend a harness until your puppy figures out a leash.

- Your puppy will come with their shot record that will include what vaccinations they have had, dates of their deworming's and any other important dates. Please don't forget to take this booklet with you to each vet appointment.

Toys- Make sure you have plenty of chew toys on hand! Puppies get bored easily! I have found that any of the kong brand toys or bones are pretty durable and hold up well. If you are leaving them in crates, make sure you leave them something to occupy them while you are away! Avoid anything with rawhide as it can be very dangerous to their digestive systems!

Health Insurance- I’ve partnered with Trupanion to offer an exclusive benefit of 30 days of medical insurance for your puppy. The offer is an automatic benefit for you, with no cost during the trial, and no commitment to continue. You must activate the 30 day offer in order to pick up your puppy. Though it is not required, I do strongly encourage staying on for longer term coverage. Puppies are 3 times more likely to see an unexpected, expensive vet visit than an older dog, and 1 in 2 puppies have such a visit within their first year. Though we guarantee the health of your pup, the Trupanion policy will also guard against any genetic or heredity conditions and breed related tendencies that cannot be completely protected against. Activation of your offer must be done within the 24 hours prior to picking up your puppy, and information on the offer and activation process will be provided.

Warranty- Please take a minute to read over a copy of our warranty/ purchase agreement prior to picking up your puppy. You can find a copy of this on our website under the warranty tab. If you haven't done so already, please provide me with your mailing and email address for my records and the purchase agreement. I will be emailing you a copy of this for your signature as we approach go home day. I will have your copy at pick up

Puppy Warranty
At the expense of the buyer, this dog should be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of possession to validate health guarantee. (If purchased on a Saturday, this requirement is extended through the following Monday). Should this dog be found with normal treatable conditions (ie. fleas, parasites, ear mites, etc.) the breeder is not liable to exchange the dog or refund any money. With proper documentations from a licensed veterinarian, if there is an internal problem such as heart, lung, or stomach, you may have a full refund of the money and puppy must be returned to seller within 5 days from date of vet visit. IF PUPPY IS NOT SEEN WITHIN 72 HOURS FROM TIME OF PURCHASE, WARRANTY WILL BE NULL AND VOID. Buyer understands that this dog has been wormed, vaccinated, and a clear certificate of health at the time of sale. The seller assumes no responsibility for this animal after the delivery date for any medical expense, human allergies, training difficulties or behavior problems. Once the puppy is delivered, the buyer assumes all responsibility for the puppy.
Puppy should not be exposed to public areas such as doggie parks or any area where there would have been other dog traffic due to the risk of puppy picking up parvo, coccidiosis or other parasites. We will NOT guarantee against communicable diseases, such as and not limited to Parvo, Coccidia, or Giardia.
Puppy will be on Purina pro plan 30/20 food (chicken & rice formula) at time of pick up. If you plan to switch dog food, please use the bag of food we send and mix it in with new food over a period of a few days slowly taking out the Purina to keep from causing an upset stomach. Due to the new environment and being away from litter mates it may take the puppy a little time to start eating like normal.
All puppies are sold as pets. NO guarantee is made as to size, color, coat texture, breeding abilities, DNA results or disposition.
Buyer certifies that he/she is not acting as an agent for another individual in the purchase of this dog and will not sell this dog to anti mass-producing kennel (puppy mill) or business.
